Production of Medical Equipment Made in Iran, a Symbol of Self-Belief and Technological Competence

The technology for producing domestic medical and rehabilitation equipment has been acquired by a knowledge-based company, a member of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran.

According to the Public Relations of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, a knowledge-based company and member of the park has successfully produced domestic medical and rehabilitation equipment and offered it to the market.

Rahpouyan Sarmaye Aris Company, one of the resident companies at the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, operates as a knowledge-based company in the field of medical equipment production and capability, aiming to meet patients’ needs.

Maryam Shojai, the CEO of the knowledge-based company Rahpouyan Sarmaye Aris, in an interview with the media team of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, said: “By utilizing the latest technologies, using high-quality, hypoallergenic raw materials, and offering various product models, the company has managed to solve many of the patients’ problems.”

She noted the diversity of the company’s product customers, stating that the main customers are primarily government organizations, hospitals, medical equipment vendors, and patients.

The technologist, referring to the employment created by Rahpouyan Sarmaye Aris for 60 people directly and outlining the company’s vision, stated that one of the company’s most important goals in production is to supply domestic needs as well as to enter regional and global markets. At the same time, the challenging path of development and economic challenges such as raw material price fluctuations and a competitive and turbulent market are vital issues facing the company.

The CEO of this knowledge-based company stated that organizing domestic and international exhibitions and support from chambers of commerce for knowledge-based companies, along with offering appropriate financial facilities, could pave the way for the activities of innovators and technologists.

She said: “Surely many of Iran’s products are of much higher quality than similar foreign products, but currently, a very small share of foreign markets belongs to Iran, which requires further planning and support.”

It is worth mentioning that Rahpouyan Sarmaye Aris is a knowledge-based company, a member of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, specializing in the production of medical and rehabilitation equipment, with its most important products including a cellular air mattress and an aluminum mechanical wheelchair.
