The role of knowledge-based entrepreneurs and innovators nationwide in the second specialized event of smart police

According to the Public Relations of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, the specialized event on Smart Police and the exhibition of technological achievements by knowledge-based companies, in collaboration with the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, commenced on the 1st of Khordad 1402 at the Innovation and Flourishing Fund venue.

Dr. Asadi, the head of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, highlighted the effective role of science and technology parks and knowledge-based companies in addressing the country’s technological and innovative needs. He emphasized the necessity of collaboration, cooperation, and networking among companies and executive bodies. Additionally, he announced the selection of the University of Tehran’s Science and Technology Park as the national hub for addressing Fraga’s potential needs.

Sardar Ahmad Doltakhah, the Deputy of Information Technology and Communications at Fraga, emphasized the significance of smart policing and its role in governance, underlining the importance of utilizing innovative solutions in various police-related areas. He highlighted the need for a smart city infrastructure to support the implementation of smart policing concepts.

Dr. Omid Rezaei Far, the Acting Head of the Technology and Innovation Deputy at the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology, discussed the importance of connecting the event’s space to the National Idea System (NAN), emphasizing the need to record the requirements presented at the event in the NAN system for the benefit of technologists and university students.

Furthermore, Dr. Siavash Malekifar, the Deputy for Development at the Innovation and Flourishing Fund, discussed the significant impact of the Knowledge-Based Companies Law on the establishment of over 8500 knowledge-based companies in science and technology parks across the country. He highlighted the initiation of a new phase of activities following the approval of the Knowledge-Based Production Law, emphasizing the increased financial support for knowledge-based companies, introduction to banks for loans and facilities, and assistance in market expansion and product sales domestically and internationally.

It’s important to note that in addition to the exhibition, bilateral cooperation agreements were signed during the specialized event between the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran and knowledge-based and technology companies.
