Designing a five-faced geometric pattern for the advancement of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center
A strategic planning and brainstorming session for the main activities of the branches of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran was held. According to the Public Relations Office of the Science and Technology Park, the session, which took place on Thursday, 1st of Azar, was attended by Dr. Ali Asadi, the head of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, alongside the organization’s deputies, managers, and branch supervisors. Dr. Ali Asadi expressed the goal of establishing 2000 technology cores in the park through cooperation with the university’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center and its branches.
Dr. Asadi outlined the abundance of resources within the faculties, including 30,000 postgraduate students, 2400 faculty members, and ample space and buildings, emphasizing the potential for establishing technology cores. He also discussed the new programs of the center with a focus on transforming student technology cores, encouraging participation, and promoting a culture of technology and innovation among the university’s faculty members. The head of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran stressed the role of collaboration in realizing these new initiatives and its impact on the park’s operational strategies at the university level, leveraging the capacity of students, faculty members, and the infrastructure.
Additionally, he highlighted the necessity of utilizing the available capacities, including the diverse educational domains and dispersed faculties at the University of Tehran. Furthermore, the session featured discussions on effective brainstorming for strategic initiatives, including challenges and achievements. Dr. Amir Alambigi, the head of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, spoke about the current processes and highlighted a five-faced model designed through a study of 27 innovation centers worldwide, with a focus on entrepreneurial ideation and problem-solving. He expounded on the implementation of innovation flow, aiming to promote entrepreneurial culture and address challenges for business owners while supporting innovators. The meeting concluded with meaningful discussions focused on strategic plans.”
