The University of Tehran Science and Technology Park (UTSTP); ready to transfer experience and knowledge to other countries
According to the Public Relations of the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, the second joint meeting with Venezuela was held on Monday, 28th of Esfand.
Dr. Iraj Elahdadi, the Deputy for Technology Development at the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, highlighted the university’s status as the oldest and largest in the country, emphasizing its capacity to facilitate the growth of mature companies, post-startups, and developed companies.
He also mentioned that over 1000 idea-processing units have joined the park, with approximately 10% of them having transitioned into companies. Currently, 150 companies are in line to establish themselves within the park.
Dr. Reza Mohammakazemi, the Director of Business Promotion and Development Center at the Science and Technology Park of the University of Tehran, discussed the collaboration with Venezuela and expressed the park’s readiness to transfer knowledge and experience in association with Venezuelan companies.
The meeting concluded with visits to the companies Herongar Pars and Pishrowan Fanavri Zist guneh.
